Hiya!

I decided it might be beneficial for me to keep a blog during this year. Both to try and reduce stress levels (because being a student isn't nearly as relaxing for some as it can be for others) and to have a more casual environment to practice my writing skills.

The title of my blog doesn't have anything to do with the contents. At least I hope it won't interfere too much! Pretzle (my alias for this particular blog) is my dear, dear warlock (yes, I play WoW, get over it!) and I have been making 'Dark Intent' jokes over the past few days, which in turn inspired the name for this blog because I couldn't think of anything better. Darkintended.blogspot.com is the address to find me and my ramblings.

By now you might be wondering what this blog will be like... Well, ramblings could very well end up being the majority of what I will post here. Dumping some information that was floating along in my mind for days without me being able to get rid of it or even bragging about my guild's latest achievement if I feel like that sort of thing are also possibilities.

While improving my writing, vocabulary etc. is part of my goal here, this blog will be first and foremost written for myself. It is not focused on readers of any kind. Although friends or anyone sufficiently bored might get stuck here for a short while. If so, welcome and feel free to comment. So skipping on to the good parts. I'm now in my third year of the English teaching course. This means I will be at university on Mondays and Tuesdays, teaching at an MBO on Wednesdays and Thursday and... Friday is homework/preparation day. Even though our teachers have warned us about every single year/term pretending it is 'the hardest! so once you get through this you're fine!' I have been told this more times than usual about this term. I'm slightly apprehensive about the coming few weeks because of this. Getting back into a good routine without stressing out about it too much is what I'm aiming for. Achieving this might be hard. Everything should calm down a bit at the end of January 2012... but that seems horribly far away at this time.
